“Just Play Golf”

Make A Good Golf Swing, And Let IT FLYHow about a day off of trying to learn something.  Just go out there and play golf, and have a lot of fun.  You’ll hit some great golf shots, you’ll hit some lousy golf shots and a lot of golf shots that are in between, but give you a chance to have an easy bogey or better yet still make a par. It really doesn’t matter.  What matters is enjoying hitting those good golf shots, having fun and enjoying being outside in the fresh air with good friends and golfing buddiesGolf is a great game. Play golf for fun.

“Golf Swing – Point Your Left Knee Behind Your Golf Ball In Your Back Swing”

This golf video presents a very simple concept that will help you get your body in the correct position at the top of your golf back swing before you start your down swing. Watch the golf video and make sure to have your left knee (obviously for right handed golfers) pointing slightly to the right of your golf ball as you finish your back swing. Then hit your golf ball.  And play golf for fun.  That’s what golf is all about.

“Golf Swing – Cover The Ball!”

I think this kind of thing happens to lots of handicap golfers.  You are playing pretty well.  You seem to be hitting a lot of solid golf shots, maybe with a few bad misses thrown in so that your scores are medium. Then one day you go out and shoot the best score you’ve had in quite a while. You are sure you are on your way to better golf.  Then your next round of golf you play terribly. You can’t make solid contact for anything.  And your next round is the same thing only worse. What are you going to do about it?

Well, this happened to me last week.  And yesterday I decided that I couldn’t figure out what was going on so I went to my golf pro. He took one look at my golf swing, and said, in my case, you are not “covering the ball”.  I had gotten so intent on keeping my elbow into my side and bringing my hands down to the ball in my down swing, that my right shoulder stayed back and under creating missed hits and shanks. Awful! So my cure was to work on “covering the ball”.  And if you are wondering what this is all about, watch the golf video and learn how to “cover the ball”.  And don’t forget to play golf for fun. Believe me, it’s not easy when you are hitting shanks.

“Rory McIlory’s Golf Swing”

My last couple of posts have been about Fred Couples’s golf swing.  I thought you would find it interesting to compare Fred’s golf swing with Rory McIlroy’s golf swing.   So here is Rory’s along with a detailed analysis of it.  Watch the golf video of Rory’s golf swing, and work on emulating parts of it, particularly his first move down into the golf ball from the top.  And have fun working on this.  It’s all part of playing golf for fun.

“Golf Swing Analysis Of Fred Couples Swing”

Yesterday, I posted a golf video by Fred Couples in which he talked about his golf swing and how he planned several different golf shots during a round of golf.  Today I found the golf video posted below, which gives an analysis of Fred’s golf swing.  It seemed appropriate to post these two golf videos one day apart so you could see something of how Fred thinks his way around a golf course, and then an analysis of his great golf swing.  Watch the two golf videos, and work on getting something of Freddie’s golf swing into yours.  You’ll have a lot of fun trying to do this, and, naturally, play golf for a lot more fun.

“Golf Swing Lesson From Fred Couples”

A lot of us older handicap golfers have always loved to watch Fred Couples play golf. He gives the impression of making such an easy golf swing even though we know he is really swinging hard.  Why else would Fred have so many back problems?  In this golf video by Fred he gives us a golf lesson that most of us would like to copy. So watch the golf video and work on making your golf swing look like Fred’s.  You’ll have a lot of fun trying to copy Fred’s golf swing, and if you get even a bit of his golf swing incorporated into your golf swing, you’ll have even more fun playing golf.

“Sunday Golf in Naples, Florida”

And Buy A House From Naples Real Estate - The LM Team.It is a beautiful day in Naples, Florida, today.  Perfect for golf, and my wife and I really enjoyed it.  She had a great time shooting 82, the best she round of golf she has had in a while. As for my, it was one of those days when everything that can go wrong goes wrong. I am trying hard to forget about golf. Surely, the next time I tee it up, my golf will be better.

And this is what golf is all about. But let’s have fun playing golf, and forget about the days when everything goes wrong. Just have fun.

“Golf’s Greatest Myth – Or Is It?”

This golf video attacks golf’s greatest myth.  That is “keep your head down” as you make your golf swing.  We’ve all heard it.  We have all been guilty of saying it to our friends and spouses. It is truly a myth as explained in this golf video.  But not entirely a myth. To make solid contact with your golf ball you need to keep your body down through the shot. If you raise your head too early you will bring your body up and not make solid contact and often hit your golf ball on the top watching it roll along the ground in front of you. So take the golf video seriously, but make sure to keep your body down long enough through your golf swing to make solid contact with your golf ball.  Then you can raise your body and your head as you finish your golf swing.  Work on this.  It is all part of learning a good solid golf swing.  And playing golf for fun as you do it.

“Your Golf Swing – Adding Yards To Your Golf Shots”

This golf video claims that if you incorporate the golf tip shown into your golf swing, you will add 40+ yards to your drives. Obviously, your golf swing may already have some part of this golf move in it, so maximizing the golf move, will add yards, but something less than the 40+ claimed.  However, it is still a good golf tip, so I recommend you work on it to get maximum benefit from it.  And have fun doing it.  This is why we play golf for fun.

“Putting Golf Tip – Become A Great Putter”

Paul Wilson in this golf video shows you how to become a great putter.  It is a question of being target oriented, and Paul teaches you how to do that.  It is a simple putting concept, and after you watch the golf video and work on his putting tip, I believe you’ll improve your putting dramatically. Work on it! And remember to play golf for fun.
